David and Maari were married on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2005. They honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii after that. Upon their return, David started culinary school and Maari returned to teaching 6th grade. Now some 21 months later, their daughter Claire Violet Nesper arrived. She is now one year old. David's Blog~Born in Minnesota, raised in Fresno, went to Roosevelt High School, active in Band/percussion, was a member of a popular local band called Trout for several years, received his degree from ITT Culinary and now works part-time for San Joaquin Gardens Dining department. He stays home with Claire and still plays drums for one of the Bridge E.V.Free Worship Band. An all around handsome, caring, talented & Christ-centered man! Maari's Blog~ Born in Minnesota, raised in San Jose, Madera, and Tollhouse. Received a B.A. in Theater with a minor in music from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. Worked as a youth director for 5 years in various places including Iowa. Returned to California to earn her credential to teach Elementary school from Fresno Pacific University. Taught for 4 years in Selma, teaching 6th grade and is now teaching 5th grade after taking a year off for Claire. Claire ~ Born in Fresno, CA, August 31, 2007. She enjoys butterflies, cellphones, car keys, her new Fisher Price baby doll, rockin' out to any music, laughing when everyone else laughs and emptying cabinets and bookshelves. She crawls and cruises from floor to furniture to get around now and can almost stand by herself. MICS. INFO ABOUT THE NESPERS. Things we like to do as a couple or family. Long talks on the couch, take walks, road trips, going out to eat, concerts, playing music (especially together).
